Description:

Global Health and Fitness is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support its financial operations within the protein and supplement manufacturing industry. This position is ideal for candidates looking to grow their accounting career while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting activities, maintain financial records, support reporting requirements, and help ensure compliance with VAT and regulatory standards. The role also involves working closely with purchasing, production, and management teams to maintain accurate financial documentation and operational records.

Candidates currently based in the UAE with strong accounting fundamentals, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions, invoices, payments, and receipts

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Monitor inventory-related accounting entries and production costing records

• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

• Maintain accurate financial documentation for audits and compliance purposes

• Support VAT compliance and regulatory reporting requirements

• Coordinate with purchasing, production, and management teams regarding financial documentation

• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Basic understanding of manufacturing accounting principles

• Knowledge of inventory management processes and related accounting entries

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities

• Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage

• Must currently be based in the UAE
