Description:

Amer Smart UAE is currently looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is suitable for candidates who are passionate about accounting and finance and are looking to build their professional career within a dynamic and professional work environment.

The ideal candidate should possess strong bookkeeping knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle financial documentation and reporting responsibilities efficiently. Candidates with prior UAE accounting experience and familiarity with VAT procedures will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily accounting transactions and ensure accurate bookkeeping within the accounting system.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities while maintaining proper financial records.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and review ledger entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents as required.

• Assist with VAT-related documentation, filing, and compliance processes according to UAE regulations.

• Maintain organized records of all accounting and financial documents for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements when required by management.

• Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify financial data and supporting information.

• Ensure all accounting records are updated accurately and maintained in a timely manner.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.

• Good knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Basic understanding of UAE VAT laws, documentation, and filing procedures.

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and meet reporting deadlines efficiently.
