Description:

Royal Classic is looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for procurement professionals with a strong background in the construction industry who can efficiently manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and material procurement to support ongoing projects.

The successful candidate will oversee the complete procurement process, coordinate with internal departments, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure the timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process for construction materials, equipment, and services.

• Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Request, compare, and negotiate quotations, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

• Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documentation.

• Coordinate with project, engineering, commercial, and site teams to meet procurement requirements.

• Monitor material availability, orders, deliveries, and lead times.

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery according to project schedules.

• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

• Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and project requirements.

• Prepare procurement reports and purchasing status updates for management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Procurement or Purchasing, preferably within the Construction industry.

• Experience sourcing construction materials, MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracting services is preferred.

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.

• Excellent communication, organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

Strong knowledge of:

• Local UAE suppliers and the construction market.

• Microsoft Excel and procurement documentation.

• Purchase order management, supplier coordination, and procurement processes.
