The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods efficiently and accurately. This role helps maintain inventory accuracy, ensures a safe and organized warehouse environment, and assists in meeting operational and customer delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
• Verify goods received against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Store products in designated warehouse locations following company procedures.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems.
• Label, organize, and arrange stock for easy identification and access.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Report damaged, missing, or defective goods to the supervisor.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (where licensed and authorized).
• Follow company policies on health, safety, and security.
• Assist with other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Forklift certification or license is preferred (where applicable).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems are an advantage.
