QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
- Perform automated and API testing for complex applications and scenarios
- Develop and maintain end-to-end test frameworks for web and mobile
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
- Document plans for anticipated risks and blockers to increase team velocity
- Serve as a technical SME during sprints to ensure successful delivery
- Mentor peers and junior team members through code reviews and collaboration
- Present testing plans, metrics, and insights during sprint reviews
Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional experience in automated testing
- Deep expertise in Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python)
- Experience with Appium for mobile testing (iOS and Android)
- Proficiency in CI/CD integration and environment management
- Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch
- Proven ability to present technical value to client stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with accessibility testing principles
- Strong understanding of business outcomes in software development
