Based in Dubai, our client operates as a well-established shipbroking firm with a solid reputation across the international shipping market. The business is known for backing experienced brokers with the autonomy, resources, and trust needed to build successful desks, while maintaining a collaborative and commercially driven culture.
An opportunity has arisen for a senior Tanker Broker to step into a team lead role within the Dubai office. This position goes beyond pure broking and will suit someone capable of overseeing a tanker desk, setting direction, and supporting the development of others, while still remaining hands-on in the market. The successful hire will play a key role in strengthening and expanding the firm’s tanker presence.
The requirements for this role are:
- 5+ years’ experience in tanker broking
- Proven capability to run a desk and take on leadership responsibilities
- Strong tanker market expertise with established industry connections
- Ability to work independently while guiding and supporting a wider team
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
