Reinsurance Producing Broker

About the Role

Our client a leading reinsurance broker based in the DIFC, Dubai is looking for an entrepreneurial Reinsurance Producing Broker with the relationships, market knowledge and commercial drive to generate profitable new business.

The position is open across all classes of reinsurance and all geographic regions. The successful individual will be responsible for originating opportunities, developing clients and converting relationships into sustainable revenue.

Responsibilities

• Produce new reinsurance business.
• Build and manage relationships with insurers, cedants, brokers and corporate clients.
• Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Identify new territories, classes and distribution partnerships.
• Understand client requirements and develop tailored reinsurance solutions.
• Work with technical and placement teams to prepare and market submissions.
• Negotiate capacity, pricing, commissions, terms and conditions.
• Develop relationships with international reinsurers and capacity providers.
• Achieve agreed production, revenue and profitability targets.
• Maintain accurate client, pipeline and placement records.
• Ensure all business complies with regulatory, KYC and internal requirements.

R equired Experience

• Strong track record in business production, broking or client development.
• Established industry relationships within one or more international markets.
• Experience within reinsurance, commercial insurance or specialty risks.
• Demonstrable ability to originate and convert new business.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Independent, commercially focused and highly motivated.
