TECHNICAL OFFICE ENGINEER

• Perform technical and administrative tasks in marine civil department
• Coordinate the marine civil innovation program

Support the preparation of business cases related to the department

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs related to coastal discipline, follow up with procurement department on technical clarifications from bidders, technical review of quotations and final technical bid analysis
• Coordinate innovation program of Marine/Civil department acting as ambassador: maintain and update registers, communicate on a regular basis with participants and other departments assisting in preparation of cases as required, organise scheduled meetings
• Undertake and conclude case studies analysis as part of the innovation program or independent business cases including providing cost, resources and scheduling inputs
• Create/review/update generic Method Statements in a wide variety of coastal construction processes (Rockworks, Quay Wall, Artificial Beaches, etc)
• Create, evaluate or recommend improvements to existing systems and procedures
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate information exchange and resolve technical queries
• Assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary activities and ensure integration of technical inputs
• Conduct research to gather technical information and provide insights
• Provide support in preparation of internal/external audits

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent

Minimum of 06 years' relevant experience in marine or coastal construction projects

Experience in the MENA region is preferred
