Business Development Manager - AWS

Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive CXO‑level account strategies to maximize customer acceptance and service implementation.
- Solution‑Based Selling: Sell the broad AWS portfolio (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Generative AI) via consultative selling.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with AWS Account Managers, Solutions Architects and Professional Services to design and deploy comprehensive workloads.
- Pipeline Management: Identify new business opportunities, handle large complex deal negotiations, and manage the full sales cycle.
Target Profile & Qualifications
- Experience: Typically requires 3‑5+ years of AWS cloud sales experience, demonstrating a history of meeting or exceeding quotas. Preferably UAE experience.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of AWS cloud architecture, IT infrastructure, and the ability to articulate architectural cost/benefit trade‑offs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Typical Day‑to‑Day
A standard day involves meeting with IT Directors and C‑suite executives to align AWS solutions with company goals, negotiating enterprise contracts, and strategizing with downstream technical resources on migration roadmaps.
- Executive Presence: Ability to establish instant credibility with senior‑level business and technology stakeholders.
- Customer Obsession: A strong, customer‑first mentality and ability to solve problems independently.
- Complex Deal Orchestration: Navigating multiple internal and external stakeholders across geographically distributed teams.
