Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Cluster Social Media Manager will lead the social media presence of Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island and Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island.

This hands-on role combines social media strategy, high-quality content production, community management and influencer partnerships. You will translate each resort’s distinct positioning into compelling stories, creating content that builds awareness, strengthens engagement and inspires guests to visit, dine and stay.

What you will be doing:

• Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute tailored strategies for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook and other relevant platforms, with clear objectives and measurable KPIs for each resort.
• Content Planning: Manage content calendars across both properties, balancing campaigns, seasonal offers, events and everyday resort storytelling. Maintain a distinct voice and visual identity for each brand.
• Luxury Video Production: Personally plan, shoot and edit polished hospitality and lifestyle videos showcasing rooms, dining, wellness, recreation and guest experiences. Demonstrate strong skills in composition, lighting, camera movement, sound, colour grading and visual storytelling.
• Platform-Specific Content: Create Reels, Stories, TikTok videos, Snapchat content, YouTube Shorts, longer-form videos and Facebook content. Adapt the storytelling, format and pacing to each platform.
• Creative Direction: Develop concepts, storyboards and shot lists, and coordinate talent, locations, styling and production schedules. Collaborate with the Graphic Designer/Videographer and external creators to deliver consistent, high-quality content.
• Local and International Influencer Partnerships: Identify, evaluate and manage influencers and content creators across key source markets. Assess audience relevance, engagement quality, content standards and brand fit before recommending collaborations.
• Influencer Hosting and Deliverables: Manage collaborations from outreach and negotiation through briefing, itineraries, hosting and follow-up. Agree deliverables, timelines, usage rights and reporting requirements, and coordinate with operational teams to ensure smooth stays.
• Community Management: Oversee comments, direct messages, mentions and tags across all channels. Respond promptly in the appropriate brand voice and coordinate guest enquiries or concerns with the relevant departments.
• Social Storytelling and Event Coverage: Capture timely content during activations, events, launches and influencer stays, including occasional evening and weekend coverage.
• User-Generated Content: Source and curate suitable guest and creator content, securing permission and maintaining clear records of usage rights.
• Performance and Reporting: Monitor reach, views, watch time, engagement, audience growth, enquiries and attributable bookings. Report on content and influencer performance, using findings to improve future activity.
• Trends and Creative Tools: Stay informed about platform features, audience behaviour, content trends and emerging creators. Use relevant editing and AI-assisted tools responsibly while maintaining authentic brand representation.
• Cluster Coordination: Work closely with Marketing, Food & Beverage, Rooms, Recreation, Spa and other teams to identify stories and manage competing priorities across both resorts.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Proven experience managing social media for luxury hospitality, premium lifestyle brands or a relevant creative agency.
• Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and Facebook, including publishing, community management, analytics and platform-specific content requirements.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating luxury video content you have personally planned, filmed and edited.
• Practical experience using cameras, smartphones, gimbals, lighting and audio equipment to produce professional-quality content.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, with confidence in mobile editing tools for fast-turnaround content.
• A refined eye for styling, composition, colour, detail and the visual standards expected of luxury hospitality.
• Demonstrated experience managing local and international influencers, including selection, negotiation, hosting, deliverable tracking and performance evaluation.
• Excellent English copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone across brands and audiences. Additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts, shoots, campaigns and partnerships simultaneously.
• Confidence directing creators, briefing suppliers and collaborating with colleagues across departments.
• Sound judgement regarding guest privacy, filming permissions, music licensing, content usage rights and collaboration disclosures.
• A proactive, creative and results-oriented approach, with the flexibility to capture content beyond standard office hours when required.
• A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media Production or a related field is preferred.
