What Youll Do

• Lead and manage the lighting department: design, install, maintain, and operate lighting systems for live productions, broadcast, and studio sets
• Develop the creative lighting vision in collaboration with production designers and directors, creating dynamic, high-impact lighting setups
• Manage a team of lighting technicians, ensuring shift coverage, training, and performance excellence
• Oversee implementation of lighting rigs, control desks, DMX systems, LED arrays, and specialized fixtures
• Maintain inventory, source new equipment, and manage budgets for lighting hardware and consumables
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize reliability, and ensure high standards of safety and efficiency
• Drive innovation by researching and integrating emerging lighting technologies and workflows
• Establish and enforce lighting protocols, cue lists, and maintenance schedules

Who You Are

• Extensive experience in lighting for broadcast, stage, or studio production
• Deep technical knowledge of lighting control systems, rigging, DMX, and modern lighting fixtures
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing a technical team
• Highly organized with strong project management ability
• Creative and collaborative - able to translate artistic concepts into lighting solutions
• Problem-solving mindset and calm under pressure, especially during live production
• Communicative and proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Willing to work flexible hours, including shifts, rehearsals, and live broadcasts
