About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and highly skilled Senior Pastry Chef to join a premium artisan café and bakery in Al Ain.UAE . The successful candidate will have extensive experience producing high-quality French pastries, artisan breads, viennoiserie, premium desserts, and modern bakery products.The ideal candidate should be capable of leading pastry production, maintaining exceptional quality standards, developing new menu items, and ensuring consistency across all products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare premium artisan pastries, desserts, and bakery products.
  
• Produce laminated dough products including croissants, Danish pastries, pain au chocolat, and puff pastry.
  
• Bake artisan breads including sourdough, brioche, baguettes, ciabatta, and focaccia.
  
• Prepare French pastries such as éclairs, mille-feuille, Paris-Brest, macarons, and tarts.
  
• Produce premium cakes, cheesecakes, mousse cakes, entremets, and seasonal desserts.
  
• Develop new pastry and bakery recipes in line with market trends.
  
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and product quality.
  
• Supervise daily pastry production and kitchen operations.
  
• Train, mentor, and motivate junior pastry staff.
  
• Manage production schedules to meet daily sales requirements.
  
• Monitor food cost, inventory, and minimise wastage.
  
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance.
  
• Ensure all products meet company quality standards.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional pastry experience.
  
• Previous experience as Senior Pastry Chef, Head Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous Chef, or Pastry Chef .
  
• Strong knowledge of artisan bakery production.
  
• Expert in laminated dough and viennoiserie.
  
• Excellent knowledge of French pastries and premium desserts.
  
• Experience producing artisan breads from scratch.
  
• Ability to work in a high-volume production environment.
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
  
• Knowledge of food costing and inventory management.
  
• HACCP and food safety knowledge.
