Senior Animator

Responsibilities
- Create animations that meet the aesthetic and technical requirements of the project
- Set a high visual bar and push for elevated quality
- Work with animation lead and Technical Art to ensure efficient delivery tools and technology
- Collaborate with design and narrative to ensure responsive and expressive assets
- Self-manage timeboxes and production workload to meet milestone goals
- Improve animation processes, workflows, and pipelines
- Respond to feedback and iterate on assets
- Utilize keyframe and motion capture techniques
- Develop expert-level knowledge of game engine animation tools
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an Animator
- Minimum of one shipped Unreal Engine title in an Animation role
- Proficiency working directly in Unreal Engine
- Experience with Blender and related animation software
- Extensive knowledge of animation pipelines
- Strong documentation and debugging skills
- Ability to mentor junior team members
- Strong understanding of art fundamentals and aesthetic judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Blender experience
- Creature or non-bipedal animation experience
- First-person animation experience
