Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Waiter to join our dynamic hospitality team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this leadership-oriented role, you'll manage your own section with confidence while delivering refined, personalized service that exceeds guest expectations. You'll be instrumental in creating memorable dining experiences while mentoring junior team members and collaborating seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth, efficient service flow.

• Manage your assigned section with professionalism and confidence, ensuring a refined and personalized guest experience
• Deliver attentive, knowledgeable service across all food and beverage offerings with exceptional attention to detail
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and support teams to maintain smooth service flow and operational efficiency
• Mentor, guide, and support junior team members on the floor, modeling best practices and service excellence
• Maintain impeccable standards of presentation, cleanliness, and service execution throughout your shift
• Accurately take and process guest orders, ensuring precision and accommodating special requests with empathy
• Anticipate guest needs and preferences, creating personalized experiences that foster loyalty and satisfaction
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism, empathy, and decisive problem-solving
• Manage table setup, coordination, and breakdown with efficiency and organizational excellence
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene protocols and company service standards
• Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently for order processing and billing
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and inclusive behavior in our diverse, multicultural Dubai environment

Qualifications

**Required Skills & Experience:**

• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive waiter experience in upscale dining or hospitality establishments
• Proven expertise in section management and guest service delivery
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, dining etiquette, and service protocols
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior staff members
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays and service equipment
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards
• Proven conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Preferred Skills & Experience:**

• Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality environments
• Knowledge of wine pairings and beverage recommendations
• Experience coordinating with kitchen and bar teams in high-volume settings
• Familiarity with multiple cuisines and dietary requirements
• Previous experience training or onboarding new team members
• Multilingual capabilities (particularly Arabic or other languages spoken in Dubai)
