Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Roll Shop Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of rolling equipment used in the production of steel products. This is a fulltime permanent position with opportunities for growth within the company. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the maintenance and repair of rolling equipment including but not limited to: roll grinders roll lathes and roll chocks Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on rolling equipment to ensure optimal performance Assist in the installation and removal of rolls from rolling equipment Clean and maintain the roll shop area to ensure a safe and organized work environment Monitor inventory levels of roll shop supplies and assist in ordering as needed Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations in the roll shop Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a similar role preferably in a steel production or maintenance environment Knowledge of roll shop equipment and maintenance procedures Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed Benefits: Competitive salary Health insurance Annual leave Training and development opportunities Friendly and supportive work environment If you are a motivated individual with a passion for maintenance and repair work we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team at Star Services LLC.
