Front Desk & Member Experience Executive (Fitness / Wellness / Hospitality / Leisure)

Black Pearl is recruiting a professional, welcoming and customer-focused Front Desk & Member Experience Executive for a premium fitness, sports and wellness facility in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for members, guests and prospective customers while supporting the smooth daily operation of the reception area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome members, visitors and prospective customers professionally.
  
• Manage the daily operation of the reception and front desk.
  
• Process member check-ins and ensure access is granted only to active and authorised members.
  
• Respond to incoming calls according to approved service standards.
  
• Take accurate messages and direct enquiries to the appropriate department.
  
• Maintain current knowledge of facility services, rules, class schedules, promotions and events.
  
• Provide clear and accurate information to members and visitors.
  
• Handle general enquiries, requests and concerns professionally.
  
• Process cash, bills, cheques and other approved transactions accurately.
  
• Maintain proper cash-register records and follow internal financial-control procedures.
  
• Assist the Membership Sales team with facility tours when required.
  
• Promote fitness events, classes, activities and approved campaigns.
  
• Coordinate with Membership Sales, Fitness, Operations and other departments.
  
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional reception environment.
  
• Protect confidential member and company information.
  
• Escalate complaints or operational concerns to the appropriate manager.
  
• Follow all operating procedures, customer-service standards and health and safety requirements.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• High school certificate or equivalent.
  
• Strong customer-service orientation.
  
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Computer literate and able to learn membership, booking and access-control systems.
  
• Comfortable managing cash and other approved financial transactions.
  
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and attention to detail.
  
• Reliable, punctual and able to remain calm during busy periods.
  
• Able to work effectively with customers and colleagues from different backgrounds.
  

PREFERRED INDUSTRY BACKGROUND

Previous experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

• Fitness club or health club
  
• Wellness or lifestyle facility
  
• Hotel, resort or hospitality business
  
• Leisure or recreational facility
  
• Premium reception or customer-service environment
  
• Membership-based organisation
