Membership Sales Executive - Minimum 1 Year of Sales Experience (Fitness / Wellness / Leisure / Hospitality)

Black Pearl is recruiting a commercially driven and customer-focused Membership Sales Executive for a premium fitness, sports and wellness facility in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidate will manage prospective-member enquiries, conduct needs-based consultations and facility tours, convert qualified leads and support membership retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage with prospective members in person, by telephone, email and other approved channels.
  
• Identify each prospect’s fitness, wellness and lifestyle requirements.
  
• Present appropriate membership options accurately and professionally.
  
• Conduct engaging tours of the facility, services, programmes and amenities.
  
• Explain membership inclusions, exclusions, terms and payment requirements clearly.
  
• Follow up consistently with enquiries, appointments, tours, non-joiners and undecided prospects.
  
• Generate leads through referrals, networking, online channels, community outreach and local partnerships.
  
• Convert qualified opportunities into memberships through consultative selling.
  
• Achieve or exceed assigned sales, revenue, conversion and activity targets.
  
• Contact members with expiring memberships and support renewal targets.
  
• Build professional relationships with prospective, new and existing members.
  
• Respond to enquiries and assist in resolving concerns during the sales process.
  
• Maintain complete and accurate CRM records.
  
• Track lead sources, pipeline activity, appointments and conversion rates.
  
• Prepare sales reports, revenue forecasts and performance updates.
  
• Coordinate with Reception, Fitness, Member Experience and Operations.
  
• Participate in campaigns, events, open days and promotional activities.
  
• Follow approved pricing, promotion, payment and membership-activation procedures.
  
• Protect confidential member and company information.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• High school certificate or equivalent.
  
• At least one year of professional sales experience.
  
• Demonstrated ability to engage customers and close sales professionally.
  
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  
• Experience using CRM, lead-management or sales software.
  
• Confident telephone manner and presentation skills.
  
• Strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
  
• Comfortable working with individual and team sales targets.
  

PREFERRED

• Previous sales experience in fitness, wellness, leisure, hospitality, lifestyle, beauty, retail membership or another premium service industry.
  
• Experience selling memberships, subscriptions or recurring services.
  
• Arabic language ability.
  
• Experience conducting facility tours and needs-based consultations.
  
• Existing familiarity with the Abu Dhabi customer market.
