Our successful Hotel Sales Managers …

• Proactively identify, solicit and secure new corporate, government, group and MICE business through daily sales activities, client meetings, networking and account development.

• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of accounts, maximising revenue, market share and long-term client relationships.

• Conduct regular sales calls and face-to-face meetings to identify new opportunities and convert leads into profitable business.

• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify opportunities and maximise revenue potential.

• Develop and execute sales initiatives, client activations, familiarisation visits and experiences that effectively communicate the benefits and competitive advantages of the hotel.

• Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries, ensuring opportunities are followed through from initial enquiry to conversion.

• Maintain accurate client, competitor and market intelligence within the hotel's sales systems and CRM platforms.

• Prepare regular sales activity reports, production analysis and account plans to support effective commercial and sales strategies.

• Provide accurate revenue forecasts based on confirmed and anticipated business for discussion during weekly revenue and commercial meetings.

• Build and maintain strong, professional and cooperative relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers and industry partners.

• Actively network within relevant business communities, associations and industry events to generate mutually beneficial business opportunities.

• Work independently and collaboratively as part of the Sales and Commercial team to consistently deliver agreed targets and high service standards.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have:

• A minimum of 2–3 years' experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar hotel sales position .

• Proven sales experience and an established network of contacts within the Abu Dhabi corporate, government and business community .

• Previous experience working within a 4- or 5-star international hotel environment .

• Demonstrated ability to generate new business, grow existing accounts and consistently achieve sales and revenue targets.

• Strong knowledge of the Abu Dhabi hospitality market, including key corporate, government, diplomatic and MICE segments.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to analyse market trends, competitor activity and account performance.

• Experience using hotel sales CRM systems and preparing sales forecasts and production reports.

• A valid UAE driving licence.
