As Etihad continues its ambitious growth journey, we are looking for an experienced Manager Recruitment - Engineering to lead recruitment delivery across one of the most critical areas of our business.

This is an opportunity for a recruitment leader with deep expertise in aviation engineering or technical recruitment who understands the unique challenges of attracting, assessing and securing highly skilled engineering talent. You will lead a team of recruiters responsible for both high-volume frontline engineering hiring and specialist technical positions, ensuring Etihad remains competitive in a highly sought-after talent market.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading and developing a high-performing Engineering recruitment team.
• Creating and executing bold recruitment strategies that support Etihad's engineering growth plans.
• Acting as a strategic talent advisor to senior engineering leaders and stakeholders.
• Developing innovative attraction campaigns and sourcing strategies to engage top engineering talent globally.
• Building sustainable talent pipelines across licensed engineers, maintenance, technical operations and specialist engineering disciplines.
• Driving assessment excellence, ensuring hiring decisions are robust, objective and aligned to business requirements.
• Leveraging market intelligence and competitor insights to strengthen hiring outcomes.
• Delivering exceptional service to both candidates and hiring managers while maintaining pace and quality of hire.
• Continuously improving recruitment processes, tools and ways of working to enhance performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience leading aviation engineering or engineering recruitment teams .
• Proven expertise recruiting for both high-volume frontline engineering roles and specialist technical positions .
• Deep understanding of engineering talent markets, sourcing strategies and technical assessment methodologies.
• Strong people leadership experience, with a track record of managing, coaching and developing recruiters.
• Ability to build credibility and influence at senior stakeholder level.
• Experience using data, market insights and innovation to drive recruitment performance.
• Strong understanding of candidate attraction, assessment and selection best practice.
• Degree educated with extensive experience within Talent Acquisition and recruitment leadership.

You are a recognized subject matter expert in engineering recruitment with experience gained within an airline, MRO, aerospace organization or complex engineering environment. You combine strategic thinking with operational excellence, inspire high performance in your team and are passionate about finding innovative ways to attract and secure top engineering talent.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process for this position will involve the following steps:

1. All applications will be reviewed by a human-member of our Recruitment Team
2. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to completed a recorded video interview via our third-party platform HireVue. This interview will allow you to record your responses to a range of questions related to the position and will allow you to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in a way that just your CV alone would not be able to. It also ensures fairness for you and all candidates, as all of our shortlisted candidates are asked the same questions and assessed on their responses. 
3. After a review of completed video interviews, shortlisted candidates will be invited to an initial technical interview with the hiring manager.
4. Finalists will be invited to a follow up meeting with additional members of the hiring team. This interview will include the completion of a job-related case study and presentation to the hiring team.
5. All candidates will be notified as to the status of their application as soon as is possible.
