Logistics Assistant

We are looking for an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support our daily logistics, warehouse, and supply chain operations.

The successful candidate will assist with shipment coordination, delivery tracking, logistics documentation, inventory movement, and communication with suppliers, drivers, warehouses, and other departments.

The ideal candidate should have good organizational skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily logistics and transportation activities.
  
• Coordinate the collection and delivery of goods with drivers and transport providers.
  
• Track shipments and deliveries and provide status updates when required.
  
• Prepare and maintain delivery notes, packing lists, invoices, and other logistics documents.
  
• Verify shipment details, quantities, addresses, and supporting documents.
  
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
  
• Assist with scheduling deliveries and arranging transportation.
  
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, drivers, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
  
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  
• Update shipment and delivery information in spreadsheets or company systems.
  
• Assist with import and export documentation when required.
  
• Support freight forwarding and customs-clearance activities under the guidance of the responsible team member.
  
• Follow up on delayed, pending, or incomplete deliveries.
  
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly delivered goods to the supervisor.
  
• Assist with stock transfers and inventory-related documentation.
  
• File and organize logistics documents for easy retrieval.
  
• Help prepare basic logistics and delivery reports.
  
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, warehouse, accounts, and customer service teams.
  
• Follow company procedures for handling, transportation, and documentation of goods.
  
• Perform other logistics and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
  
• Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, shipping, or administration is preferred.
  
• Fresh graduates with relevant education may also be considered.
  
• Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  
• Knowledge of shipping and delivery documentation is an advantage.
  
• Familiarity with UAE logistics, import/export, or customs procedures is an advantage.
  
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  
• Experience with ERP, inventory, or logistics management systems is an advantage.
  
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
