Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

In the role of Production Supervisor you are responsible for leading a dedicated team while contributing to pioneering production processes. This role offers an extraordinary chance to work in a dynamic Production Supervisor would work across Operations and other teams to leverage data-driven insights drive improvement foster innovation and deliver measurable results for the organization.

For this role your responsibilities will be:

• Enhance the safety culture to create a safe work environment for our employees
• Provides leadership in setting expectations for a safe work environment
• Drives safety improvements
• Provides on-site expertise to achieve safety quality and productivity
• Ensures production policies and procedures are accurate and documented
• Participate in internal as well as external audits for the function

Implementation and Adherence to the Quality Policies and Standard

• Ensures use of current revisions and accurate procedures
• Ensures quality training to process procedures that are understood and adhered to
• Works with Quality team to ensure ISO documentation and training records standards are adhered to
• Support the Engineering and Quality team to investigate customer complaints and drive improvements
• Participate in internal as well as external audits for the function

Performance Analysis to support business needs

• Organize the workforce to optimize effectiveness and productivity

• Defines and facilitates objectives and metrics report to leadership on department performance

• Mentors and coaches team members by providing regular feedback and cross training opportunities

• Maintain the competency matrix for the team and develop the training and development plans to align with the matrix

Coordinate scheduling and capacity to achieve lead time and service level objectives

• Develop rates and plans with Planning and engineering
• Provides direction and metrics to ensure development of balanced schedules
• Organizes the permanent and temporary production workforce for optimum effectiveness
• Provides coordination and liaison between production and other departments as needed
• Supports the assembly area and stations modifications supports the engineering team for new product and process changes.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

For this role you will need.

• Diploma / Bachelors degree in Engineering
• 3 years of experience in Operations or Manufacturing sector
• 5S and Lean Principles certification
