Key Responsibilities
Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Analyze project requirements and identify cost risks and opportunities.
Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare tender pricing, bid summaries, and commercial proposals.
Assist in the preparation of value engineering and alternative cost solutions.
Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams during the tender stage.
Clarify commercial and contractual issues with clients and consultants.
Review contract conditions and identify commercial risks.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and preliminary project budgets.
Maintain an updated cost database and historical pricing records.
Ensure all tender submissions comply with client requirements and deadlines.
Participate in pre-tender meetings and site visits when required.
Support contract handover to the project execution team after award.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent) is an advantage.
