Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer – Bridge, Tunnel & Infrastructure to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE .

Job Description

• Assist the Resident Engineer in managing and supervising site construction activities.
• Supervise and monitor bridge, tunnel, road, utility, and associated infrastructure works .
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with the Contractor, Client, Authorities, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor daily construction progress and report delays, technical issues, and non-compliance.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, material submittals, and inspection requests.
• Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve site-related issues.
• Participate in site inspections, progress meetings, testing, and handover activities.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of construction activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in bridge, tunnel, and infrastructure projects .
• Experience in site supervision and contractor coordination.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures, and construction practices.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
