Key Responsibilities
- As-is assessment & benchmarking for finance operating model focusing on Governance, Organization, Processes and Systems. Developed Finance group’s target operating model, finance vision & the key improvement initiatives.
- Defined transformation program including implementation roadmap with action plans to enable Finance shift away from transactional processing towards strategic business partnering activities.
GL & Accounting Redesign and Record‑to‑Report Process Optimization
- Project lead for redesign of the GL segments & optimization of accounting process to simplify chart of accounts & streamline accounts to improve control & performance.
- Redesigned the CoA model to simplify CoA & remove redundant accounts, designed target Oracle GL, optimized R2R process, developed implementation roadmap with action plans & performed impact analysis of redesigned GL structure on all downstream systems. Developed target accounting cycle for entire gamut of bank’s retail, treasury & corporate products.
- Business case development and cost-benefit analysis for target state financial accounting organization with cost projections for salary, overheads, system setup, user trainings and evaluation of the benefits realized.
Budgeting & Forecasting Design
- Planning lead for the entire budgeting redesign of bank’s highly manual excel-based budgeting & forecasting process to automate it using digital EPM solution. Designed financial planning for Retail, Corporate, Treasury, Risk and workforce & fixed assets planning.
- Conducted workshops for requirement gathering, prepared process for the budgeting & forecast model incorporating the industry best practices including driver based forecasting and rolling forecasts.
Implementation of Driver‑Based Forecasting
- Implemented Driver Based Forecasting to replace excel based budgeting & planning model using Oracle Hyperion Planning.
- Worked as Onsite SME and managed the team (offshore-onsite model) for 20 resources.
- Managed EPM implementation involving business requirements mapping into Hyperion tools by designing hierarchies and transforming the business logic.
- Achieved CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) of 94% - highest among all projects for Finance in bank.
- Performed as-is assessment of bank’s existing operational risk management (ORM) capabilities & evaluate ORM maturity level.
- Conducted workshops with Head of Ops Risk to gather requirements for revamping RCSA, Risk & Loss libraries, Risk Governance, KRI/KCI, dashboards, reporting & capital calculation methodology.

The bank is running through various digital transformation & Fintech innovations projects across all banking segments (Retail/Corporate/Private). Therefore the person will lead the development of the bank's innovation and digital strategy business wide, in partnership with Group Heads and drive the strategy agenda in order to create revenue opportunities.
We are looking for candidates who have worked on large-scale program management.
