Head Chef | Italian Pizza Restaurant | Al Ain

We've been serving authentic Italian cuisine in Al Ain since 2006 . Italian food is our passion and our specialty. Our operation spans dine-in , cloud kitchens , and a fully equipped mobile cooking van that caters events across the UAE. We proudly partner with Noon, Talabat, and Keeta for delivery.

We're looking for a Head Chef to take full ownership of our kitchen operations.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Restaurant Owner , you'll oversee the entire kitchen operation, including:

• Main restaurant kitchen
• Cloud kitchen production
• Mobile live cooking van

This is more than a maintenance role. We're looking for someone who is passionate about Italian cuisine , enjoys innovation, and is committed to continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team on a daily basis
• Develop and refresh the menu, including seasonal specials
• Control food costs through accurate costing and budgeting
• Engineer the menu to maximize profitability without compromising quality
• Plan and execute live cooking events using our mobile kitchen
• Maintain consistent food quality and ensure compliance with all food safety standards
• Negotiate with suppliers and oversee purchasing and inventory management

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience specializing in Italian cuisine , with strong expertise in pizza and pasta
• Proven experience managing a busy, multi-format kitchen operation
• Strong understanding of food cost control, profit margins, and menu engineering
• A creative mindset with the ability to introduce new ideas and menu innovations
• Knowledge of UAE food safety regulations
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Currently based in the UAE and willing to relocate to Al Ain
