The Web Software Developer -Senior supports web administrators and designers through the full development lifecycle and contributes to the development of new site features. Designs and develops software solutions for websites and mobile applications that engage users and meet business requirements. Being a Web Software Developer -Senior designs and develops the web infrastructure including back-end database development and the construction of SQL queries via CGI scripting. Develops, implements, and debugs software code. In addition, Web Software Developer -Senior requires knowledge of web technologies and tools such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML, PERL, PHP, Active Server Pages, SQL, and C++. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. Being a Web Software Developer -Senior works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
