Our company is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team.

Providing clear and concise feedback to various stakeholders;
Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API;
Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the Digital Design team;
High quality code is the end-goal;
Maintain existing code bases;
Optimization of systems and on-going thorough evaluation;
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle;
Drive efficiency and security of implemented solutions;
Converting data from various formats (Excel, ACCESS etc.) into developed databases;
Develop and maintain applications and services created via WordPress and Laravel;
Understanding client requirements & functional specifications;
Migrate and update systems and applications to newer versions and formats (including from PHP 5.6 to PHP 7);
Maintaining existing codebase, to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features;
Developing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications;
Sending regular updates about project status.

Experience with SQL schema design;
RESTful services;
Strong preference given to open-source knowledge;
Knowledge of MVC frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony);
Skills in finding and removing efficiency bottlenecks;
JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS;
Ability to document not only your own code but also those of your peers;
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent in the field of Computer Engineering and Development;
5-7 years experience working in a highly-transactional production environment;
Ability to deliver end-products based on design specs;
Relevant working experience in e-Commerce;
Vue.JS, API Platform, LAMP Stack etc;
Debugging, code optimization, and performance improvements experience;
5+ years strong hands-on working experience in PHP and JavaScript ecosystem is a must;
At least 5 years experience in PHP development.
