IT Support Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a IT Support to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Administers Active directory, group policy, antivirus, and email security;
- Troubleshoots network problems and outages and locating the problem areas;
- Sets up ssid and passwords for new clients, assigns vlan and maximum allowed clients;
- Assist other IT for installing, configuring of their network devices and servers;
- Manages cisco network devices and fortinet firewalls;
- Secures server backup, configurations, login credentials and etc;
- Setting up of conference facilities (video and teleconference), and providing technical support;
- Provides support to end-users in troubleshooting and resolving of desktop PC, Servers, and Network problems;
- Deploy and perform support on locally attached and network printers, facsimiles and miscellaneous peripherals;
- Provide onsite Break/Fix and Deskside Support for Computing Hardware and Network Hardware;
- Respond promptly to tickets to investigate & provide temp/Perm resolution;
- Coordinating with vendors on software and hardware queries, follow up for resolution of pending calls;
- Involving in purchasing PC/Peripherals and deployment;
- Installing and troubleshooting operating systems Windows & Mac;
- Dedicated support engineer for corporate office (HQ) & DC (Distribution Centre) including Executive (VIP) support.
Requirements:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to manage and configure Cisco wireless controllers, lightweight access points, standalone routers and access points;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledgeable in PABX Systems such as Yeastar S100 or equivalent;
- Experience in various operating systems (Microsoft and Mac);
- At least 2 years of strong experience in Network administration both wired and wireless. With or without IT certifications;
- Solid experience in Cisco switch layer 2 and 3 Switching, QoS, Vlan and Trunking;
- Ability to manage Fortinet Firewalls, Assigns VLAN/DHCP Interfaces, Sets up DNS and IPV4 Policy;
- Proficiency on hardware troubleshooting;
- With good communication skills both oral and written;
- At least one (1) years of work experience in IT Operations or 6-months in-house training;
- Graduate of Computer Engineering or any IT related course;
- Knowledgeable in LAN, WAN, UTP cable crimping and wireless network;
- Candidate must be a graduate of any four-year IT-related course;
- Good communication and presentation skills.
