IT Support Executive –
Job Title: IT Support Executive
:
An IT Support Executive is responsible for providing technical assistance to employees or customers, maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot operating system, network, and application issues.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure and system performance.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve technical problems promptly.
- Configure and support email systems and collaboration tools.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and security checks.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related issues.
- Document technical procedures and maintain support records.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, or macOS operating systems.
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and email systems.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications are an advantage, such as:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Microsoft Certified Fundamentals
Experience
- Fresher to 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.

- Ticket resolution time.
- First-call resolution rate.
- System uptime and availability.
- User satisfaction scores.
- Compliance with IT security policies.
