People Operations Generalist

Responsibilities

• Process bi-monthly payroll with accuracy and ensure compliance
• Manage new hire onboarding and offboarding tasks
• Partner with benefits brokers to administer employee benefits
• Manage ADP HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and running reports
• Support HRIS transition and implementation projects
• Coordinate employee leaves of absence with management vendors
• Administer worker's compensation programs and report claims
• Support performance review cycles in management software
• Maintain multi-state compliance and required filings
• Document and evolve HR policies
• Contribute to process-building and improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in People Ops or HR operations
• Direct payroll ownership experience (multi‑state preferred)
• Proven ability to improve and strengthen processes
• High accuracy in compliance-heavy environments
• Strong spreadsheet skills in Microsoft Suite
• High level of discretion with confidential matters
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADP
• Experience with team collaboration tools like Slack or Teams
