Job Overview
IIQAF Group is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Assistant Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations within our hospital and healthcare facilities in Dubai . The ideal candidate will assist in dispensing medications managing inventory and ensuring patient safety while maintaining compliance with UAE health regulations and pharmacy standards .
This position is ideal for candidates searching for Assistant Pharmacist jobs in Dubai Pharmacy Technician UAE Hospital Pharmacy Assistant roles or Clinical Pharmacy Support positions .
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications and pharmaceutical products
- Prepare and label prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory stock levels and expiry dates
- Provide patient counseling and medication guidance under supervision
- Ensure compliance with DHA regulations MOH guidelines and hospital pharmacy standards
- Record and maintain accurate patient and prescription documentation
- Assist in ordering medicines equipment and pharmacy supplies
- Support pharmacy audits safety checks and quality control procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Experience as an Assistant Pharmacist Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant
- Knowledge of drug dispensing dosage calculations and medication safety
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems (PMS) and electronic prescription systems
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to follow strict hygiene and safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- DHA (Dubai Health Authority) License or eligibility preferred
- Previous experience in hospital pharmacies or clinical settings in UAE
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and inventory control procedures
