Senior Architect/Team Leader

We’re working with a growing international architectural and design studio in Dubai that is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to join its team. This is a brilliant opportunity to lead exceptional projects across luxury residential, hospitality and large-scale developments, working with international clients and a talented multidisciplinary design team.

They need someone who brings more than a beautiful portfolio. You’ll be client-facing, responsible for leading projects and expected to keep the design quality high while making sure everything is properly coordinated, technically resolved and moving forward.

Your role:
You’ll take responsibility for projects from the early design stages through technical development and delivery, working closely with clients, consultants and the wider internal team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading architectural projects and ensuring the original design vision is carried through every stage.
  
• Developing strong concepts and translating them into coordinated, buildable design solutions.
  
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
  
• Leading and supporting architects, designers and technical team members.
  
• Managing project programmes, priorities and deliverables.
  
• Coordinating architectural information across structural, MEP and other disciplines.
  
• Reviewing drawings and documentation for accuracy, quality and consistency.
  
• Overseeing design presentations, reports and client submissions.
  
• Responding to authority comments, tender queries and contractor requests.
  
• Supporting projects through site stages and resolving issues quickly and practically.
  
• Maintaining strong QA/QC standards across the team.
  
• Making sure BIM and Revit processes are followed correctly.
  

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who can comfortably balance design, technical delivery, people and clients.

You should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  
• At least five years’ architectural experience, with proven experience at Senior Architect or Project Architect level.
  
• A strong portfolio of luxury residential, hospitality or large-scale architectural projects.
  
• Excellent design and technical knowledge.
  
• Experience leading projects and managing architectural teams.
  
• Strong client-facing, presentation and communication skills.
  
• The confidence to make decisions, solve problems and keep projects moving.
  
• Good multidisciplinary coordination experience.
  
• Strong Revit and BIM capability.
  
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office.
  
• Professional written and spoken English.
  
• UAE project, authority and site experience would be a major advantage.
  

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in large-scale master planning and mixed-use development.
  
• Strong understanding of contract administration and construction processes.
  
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a bonus.
