Project Engineer

A leading company is hiring an experienced Project Engineer to coordinate and oversee engineering and construction activities, ensuring projects are completed according to approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily project activities.
Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor project progress and ensure work remains on schedule.
Ensure engineering work complies with approved drawings and specifications.
Conduct site inspections and monitor quality of work.
Identify technical issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
Prepare progress reports, site reports, and project documentation.
Monitor materials, manpower, equipment, and resource requirements.
Coordinate testing, inspections, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Attend project meetings and provide technical updates to management.
Assist with project cost control and variations when required.
Support project handover and close-out activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
Strong knowledge of engineering and construction procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good project coordination and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and team-management abilities.
Good knowledge of MS Office and relevant engineering software.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
Relevant professional certification or engineering registration is an advantage.
