Draughtsman (Urban Planning)

We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Draughtsman for a Urban Planning Mixed Used Development project; to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction project team you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and detailed technical drawings for our mixeduse development projects.
- Prepare and modify site plans floor plans elevations and sections using CAD software
- Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to ensure accurate representation of design concepts
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to create detailed construction documents
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
- Conduct site visits to gather information and verify measurements
- Update and maintain drawing databases and archives
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for client meetings
- Coordinate with other team members to resolve design conflicts and discrepancies
- Contribute to the development of project specifications and material schedules
- Stay updated on industry standards new technologies and best practices in drafting and design
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a draughtsman preferably in urban planning projects
- Proficiency in CAD software particularly AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong technical drawing and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
- Indepth knowledge of building codes and regulations especially those applicable in Dubai and the UAE
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings
- Solid understanding of construction methods materials and processes
- Excellent spatial awareness and 3D visualization skills
- Experience working on largescale construction projects
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g. AutoCAD certification) are a plus
- Familiarity with mixeduse development concepts and challenges
- Willingness to conduct occasional site visits as required
