Store Supervisor

Description

A fast-paced retail environment in Dubai offers an opportunity for a proactive Store Supervisor to coordinate daily store activities, support the sales team, maintain merchandise standards, and help deliver efficient customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day activities within the assigned store or department.
Allocate duties and coordinate staff according to daily operational requirements.
Monitor sales-floor activities and ensure products are properly displayed.
Assist customers with product inquiries, purchases, and routine concerns.
Check stock availability and coordinate replenishment when required.
Monitor incoming merchandise and verify quantities against delivery documents.
Support stock counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure price tags, promotional displays, and product information are properly maintained.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and service standards.
Handle customer feedback and escalate complex concerns to management.
Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and other departments regarding stock requirements.
Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily operational checks.
Monitor store cleanliness, organization, and general presentation.
Identify damaged, missing, or misplaced merchandise and report discrepancies.
Prepare basic sales, stock, and operational reports when required.
Ensure company policies, safety procedures, and retail standards are followed.
Requirements
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in retail, store operations, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
Supervisory or team-coordination experience is preferred.
Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong communication skills may also apply.
Good understanding of retail operations and customer service.
Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Basic knowledge of inventory handling and store documentation.
Comfortable using computers and basic MS Office applications.
Professional, customer-focused, and responsible attitude.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a busy retail environment.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
UAE/GCC retail experience is an advantage.
