Overview of the role

The role involves tenant liaison for work permit approvals for mall tenants related to in‑store refurbishments, fitouts and inspections. It also includes liaising with tenants for executing jobs arising out of tenant requirements, implementing and ensuring consistency of operational procedures, and maintaining an up-to‑date tenant database.

Responsibilities

• Work Permits: Receive and verify work permits in consultation with Electrical and Civil Engineer and Security; approve them as per mall policies; follow up with tenants and Operations Team to ensure closure of open permits.
• Tenant Coordination: Correspond with tenants regarding mall events, gift vouchers, timings, policies, compliance; arrange retailer meetings; conduct monthly and biweekly calls with store managers; track stores slated for closure; coordinate hoarding installation and submission of closure reports; coordinate reimbursements; ensure periodic inspections for operating standards; conduct back‑of‑house inspections; support Marketing with memorandums and event participation forms.
• F&B and Tenant Inspection: Inspect all food and beverage and tenant outlets at Festival Centre to ensure compliance with mall standards; organise spot checks and inspections on daily/weekly basis; submit inspection reports; issue notices to tenants.
• Graphic Installation: Install hoarding and graphics for closed units; issue and approve job requests to vendors; verify invoices and process payments with Finance.
• Administration: Issue job requests; manage job request history and database; review and escallate non‑routine requests.

Job context

The role is required to contribute to the provision of quality services in a professional and efficient manner which will reflect the company’s reputation in the shopping centre industry and serve as a point of contact for the mall tenants to ensure a professional tenant–landlord relationship.

Required skills and qualifications

• Honest and trustworthy; flexible and efficient; proactive, punctual and reliable.
• Graduation in any degree; fluent in English.
• 3–5 years relevant experience in coordination and follow‑up, preferably in a shopping centre.
