Strategic Insights & Business Intelligence Manager, Middle East

The Strategic Insights and Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a robust data-driven strategy that provides actionable consumer and trade insights to build brands, drive commercial performance and long-term market success. This role will focus on acquiring deep consumer and business understanding to drive insights and opportunity, building and optimizing business intelligence tools for market modelling, ensuring data accessibility, and delivering insights that support critical business decisions across all departments.

Position:

Strategic Insights & Data Management

• Develop and manage the Consumer Strategic Insights (SI) agenda to support market KPI achievement and assess critical business levers.
• Conduct thorough consumer research and data analysis, providing insights that guide business decisions for long-term growth.
• Build, improve, and manage systems and methodologies to ensure insights are delivered consistently, in alignment with business objectives.

Operational Responsibilities

• Market Model Development: Create a market model that delivers business planning scenarios, incorporating variables such as pricing, taxation, market size, marketing and sales (M&S) investments, and financial input.
• Marketing & Commercial Program Efficiency: Develop tools to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing and commercial programs, widely used across cross-finctional teams (Marketing, Business Development and others).
• Field Marketing Optimization: Build a system for Field Marketing and Business Development teams to target the right outlets using GIS, trade segmentation, and planning tools.
• Sales Force Efficiency: Enhance existing dashboards to track and improve the efficiency of business development teams.
• Brand Performance Tracking: Leverage data sources like Nielsen, TME, and consumer trackers to assess brand performance.
• Consumer Insights: Manage consumer insight tools, including trackers and ad hoc research, with potential future integration into a CRM platform.
• Product Performance & Innovation: Evaluate product performance through Nielsen data and ad hoc research, and support product innovation with consumer/product testing insights.

Data Accessibility & Usage

• Ensure all relevant personnel have access to necessary data in the right format and frequency, driving key discussions and decisions at every level of the organization.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, including the GM, Marketing Director, Sales Director and overall Marketing & Sales Team, to encourage widespread data adoption and usage across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 12+ years relevant experience in managerial positions within SI&BI including leading SI&BI function at least for 2 years.
• Experience of working in other markets represents a plus.
• Fluency in English. Arabic language is a plus.
