Barista

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Barista you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks including espresso-based beverages drip coffee and specialty drinks ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines grinders and other coffee equipment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service taking orders and answering questions about menu items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Stay updated on coffee trends brewing techniques and menu offerings.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Adapt to changing customer needs and preferences including knowledge of local coffee culture in Dubai.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a barista in a high-end caf hotel or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods espresso preparation and latte art.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various coffee equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Food safety and hygiene certification (as required by local regulations).
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Barista certification is preferred but not required.
• Passion for coffee and enthusiasm for creating exceptional beverage experiences.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Ability to adapt to local coffee preferences and cultural sensitivities in Dubai.
