Job Description
Job Summary
The rolerequires a reliable and efficient individual to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Learning Centre. The individual will be responsible forvarious administrative tasks and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. The individualmust be presentable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General Office Maintenance
- Ensure cleanliness andtidiness of the office premises, including work areas, pantry, and restrooms.
- Perform routine cleaningtasks such as dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Dispose of trash and wastematerials properly.
Office Supplies Management
- Monitor and maintaininventory of office supplies such as stationery, pantry items, and cleaningmaterials.
- Assist in purchasing office supplies asneeded, ensuring the availabilityof essential items.
- Handle mail distributionand courier services efficiently.
Assistance to Staff
- Support office staff as requested, including making photocopies, filing documents, andarranging meeting rooms.
- Assist in setting up formeetings, including arranging chairs, tables, and audio-visual equipment.
- Assist with queries or requests from visitors/clients.
Kitchen and Pantry Maintenance
- Ensure the pantry isstocked with refreshments and supplies for staff.
- Serve refreshments(tea,coffee, juices) to staff, visitors & clients.
- Clean kitchen appliances,utensils, and surfaces regularly.
Security and Safety
- Monitor and report anysecurity concerns or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow security protocolsand procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role ispreferred.
- Basic understanding of office equipment andprocedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonalskills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize taskseffectively.
- Good physical stamina for manual labortasks.
