Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior OpenText (Micro Focus) Consultant with extensive expertise in Enterprise Management Solutions (EMS), IT Operations Management, and Infrastructure Monitoring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and supporting OpenText/Micro Focus solutions across enterprise environments while driving operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain OpenText/Micro Focus Enterprise Management solutions.
- Manage and support monitoring platforms including:
- Operations Bridge Manager (OBM/OMi)
- SiteScope
- Network Node Manager i (NNMi)
- Business Value Dashboard (BVD)
- Operations Bridge Reporter (OBR)
- Operations Orchestration (OO)
- Optic Data Lake (OPTIC DL)
- UCMDB
- Cloud Optimizer
- Conduct requirement gathering, solution design, deployment, and upgrades of enterprise monitoring solutions.
- Integrate OpenText/Micro Focus tools with third-party applications, ITSM platforms, and cloud environments.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions using BVD and Optic Data Lake.
- Configure monitoring policies, agents, smart plug-ins, and automation workflows.
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of enterprise monitoring environments.
- Support migration and modernization initiatives involving legacy and distributed platforms.
- Develop custom monitoring solutions using scripting and automation technologies.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best-practice guidance to internal teams and customers.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions, technical workshops, and customer presentations.
- Support pre-sales activities including technical demonstrations, solution design, and RFP responses.
