About the Role
We are searching on behalf of our client for this role. This position is not with OVI.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale office moves in the UAE. The role requires immediate availability and a strong background in managing complex relocation projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain the building move project plan and schedule.
• Define project scope, objectives, budget, and success criteria.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate move timelines with business stakeholders and leadership.
• Act as the primary point of contact between business unit stakeholders, facilities teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Communicate move plans, milestones, and impacts to stakeholders.
• Manage expectations and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and oversee employee relocations, furniture moves, and equipment transfers.
• Coordinate move vendors, removal companies, and specialist contractors.
• Ensure critical business operations remain functional during transition periods.
• Work with facilities teams to ensure readiness of the new space.
• Coordinate workplace layouts, seating plans, and occupancy requirements.
• Verify building infrastructure, utilities, security, and access systems are operational.
• Procure and manage external suppliers and move contractors.
• Monitor contractor performance, deliverables, and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and safety requirements.
• Develop and manage relocation budgets.
• Track project costs and approve expenditure.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate risk assessments and method statements.
• Verify building and move activities meet legal and corporate requirements.
• Partner with IT teams to manage relocation of technology assets.
• Coordinate network, telephony, AV, and workplace technology installations.
• Ensure business continuity throughout the move process.
• Oversee move completion and issue resolution.
• Conduct post-occupancy reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
• Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived.
Your Profile
• Strong experience delivering large-scale office moves in the UAE.
• Excellent project planning and management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to coordinate technology and infrastructure relocations.
