A fast-growing manufacturing company specialising in food and consumer packaging solutions is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Operations Manager to lead the next phase of its growth journey. Backed by a highly respected CEO with a strong track record within the manufacturing sector, this business has rapidly established itself within the market and has already secured several high-profile clients across the food industries. Following two years of successful operations, the company is now entering an exciting expansion phase and requires a senior leader to take ownership of operations and drive the business forward. Reporting directly to the Founder/Investor, the Senior Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening operational performance, supporting commercial growth, and shaping the company’s future direction. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands‑on operational expert who understands the complexities of food packaging manufacturing and can combine strong factory leadership with strategic business input.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all day‑to‑day manufacturing and operational activities at the Umm Al Quwain facility.
• Manage, motivate, and develop an operational team of up to 25 employees.
• Drive production efficiency, quality standards, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner closely with the General Manager, building on the foundations already established and taking the business to the next level.
• Provide expert guidance to the CEO on market trends, product development, customer opportunities, and expansion strategies.
• Support the implementation of business growth plans across the GCC region.
• Develop and improve operational processes to support scalability.
• Take ownership of operational KPIs, productivity, and profitability targets.
• Contribute to commercial strategy and help strengthen the company’s market position.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven senior operations leadership experience within the food packaging manufacturing industry.
• Previous UAE or GCC experience is required.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality requirements, and customer expectations within food‑grade packaging.
• A hands‑on leader who is comfortable being visible on the factory floor.
• Experience managing manufacturing teams and driving operational excellence.
• Commercially aware with the ability to contribute to the wider business strategy.
• Strong understanding of P&L, cost optimisation, and growth planning.
