Manazil Group, a diversified group specializing in Property Development, Hospitality, and Healthcare, is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly qualified Director, Legal Counsel (Arabic-Speaking) to join its team on a full-time basis in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing legal matters related to real estate development, property transactions, leasing, hospitality operations, and healthcare-related businesses across the Group.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of UAE real estate laws and regulations, strong analytical capabilities, and proven experience in handling complex legal matters relating to property transactions, compliance, disputes, and commercial operations. The role requires excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, together with the ability to provide sound legal advice in support of the Group’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), lease agreements, development agreements, construction contracts, and other commercial contracts.
- Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, disposals, leasing arrangements, and development matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable UAE laws, regulations, and governmental requirements related to real estate and corporate operations.
- Conduct legal due diligence for real estate transactions and development projects.
- Liaise and coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Handle and assist in resolving disputes related to real estate, commercial, and contractual matters.
- Handle legal matters related to hospital operations, including patient relations, customer care matters, complaints, healthcare compliance, and related disputes.
- Support internal departments on legal matters relating to property development, operations, and asset management.
- Coordinate with relevant UAE authorities, including RERA, Dubai Land Department, Dubai Courts, Economic Departments, Ministry of Health, health authorities, and other regulatory entities.
- Monitor developments in UAE laws and regulations and provide appropriate legal guidance to management.
- Work professionally, manage multiple legal matters efficiently, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law as a minimum qualification.
• Minimum of seven (12) years of legal experience within the United Arab Emirates.
• Proven experience in handling real estate and property-related legal matters and disputes.
• Experience in healthcare and hospital-related legal matters is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE real estate laws, property regulations, and contractual frameworks.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters effectively.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
