Tax Manager (Direct Tax)

Responsibilities

• Oversee global direct tax compliance, including corporate income tax and withholding tax returns
• Partner with external tax advisors to support filings and reporting obligations
• Identify, monitor, and address potential tax risks
• Manage tax audits and inspections by liaising with tax authorities
• Provide strategic tax guidance on cross-border transactions and corporate structuring
• Monitor changes in global tax laws and adapt processes
• Mentor and guide a team of tax professionals
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and HR departments

Requirements

• Proven experience in international direct taxation across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong understanding of global corporate tax rules, tax treaties, and EU Directives
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams
• Capability to analyze complex data sets
• Fluency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong automation and AI capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Post‑Graduate or Master’s degree in Taxation
• Experience in startup or fintech environments
• Prior remote work experience
