Job Summary
The Technical Engineer – MEP is responsible for reviewing MEP drawings and specifications, providing technical support to project teams, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Prepare technical submittals, material approvals, and method statements.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on technical matters.
- Resolve design and site-related technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Support procurement by reviewing technical submissions and material selections.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of MEP works.
- Maintain technical documentation and project records.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of MEP construction experience.
- UAE/GCC experience required.
- Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
- Familiarity with local authority regulations and international standards.
- Have to be in the UAE.
