Draftsman -Electrical

Key Responsibilities:
-
Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings schematics layouts and as-built drawings based on design specifications.
-
Coordinate with electrical engineers site teams and other trades (mechanical civil architectural) to ensure accurate and efficient drawing production.
-
Develop and update single line diagrams (SLDs) lighting layouts power layouts cable tray layouts and earthing systems .
-
Ensure all drawings comply with DEWA Dubai Municipality and other regulatory authorities requirements.

Revise drawings based on engineering markups or site changes and maintain version control.
-
Prepare load schedules circuiting panel board schedules and equipment layouts .
-
Maintain project documentation and support technical submittals for approvals.
-
Assist in BIM coordination if required especially using AutoCAD MEP or Revit .
-
Conduct regular reviews of drawings to identify and rectify potential clashes or errors.
-
Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or Drafting.
-
7 to 10 years of proven experience in electrical drafting for construction or MEP companies in the UAE/GCC.
-
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with Revit MEP is a plus.
-
Familiarity with DEWA regulations local codes and international electrical drafting standards .

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
-
Good communication and coordination skills.
-
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
