Job Description

Synopsis

The Digital Architect is responsible for defining and governing scalable, secure, and customer-focused digital solutions across web, mobile, conversational AI, and airline commerce platforms. The role focuses on Amadeus, Digital APIs, booking, servicing, integration, and cross-platform channels, including Ionic-based and AI conversational applications.

The role works with business, product, engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and delivery teams to align solutions with enterprise strategy, architecture standards, and customer experience objectives. It also promotes specification-based and AI-assisted development to improve delivery quality, traceability, and governance.

Accountabilities

• Strong understanding of digital channel architecture across web, mobile, AI conversational platforms, APIs, middleware, identity, analytics, and customer engagement platforms.
• Practical knowledge of Ionic Framework, Capacitor, TypeScript, Adobe and modern front-end frameworks for enterprise-grade cross-platform application delivery is preferable.
• Ability to define clear solution specifications, including user journeys, API contracts, data flows, acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements, and architecture decisions.
• Awareness and experience with AI-assisted development practices, including specification quality, human review, secure coding, test automation, and traceability.
• Experience working with airline digital platforms, booking flows, servicing journeys, payment integrations, loyalty capabilities, or Amadeus-related services is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly to business, product, delivery, and technology teams.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• 8+ years experience in solution architecture, digital architecture, or technology architecture, preferably within complex digital transformation environment with total of 10+ years experience in IT or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
• Strong experience with Amadeus airline systems, Digital APIs, enterprise integration, and customer-facing digital platforms.
• Working knowledge of Ionic Framework, Capacitor, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue is desirable.
• Experience with specification-based delivery, including structured requirements, API contracts, user journeys, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, vendor engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Architecture certification such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, Open Certified Architect, or equivalent is preferred.
