Your impact

Jacobs is seeking an experienced BIM Manager within our data center practice to lead the digital delivery of complex data center projects based from our office in Riyadh or Dubai. You will work at the intersection of technology, engineering, and innovation driving BIM excellence, enabling seamless multidisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring our data center designs meet the highest standards of accuracy, resilience, and constructability. You will be expected to bring AI tools and latest technologies available to enhance the speed of delivery. Your leadership will help shape the digital backbone that supports cloud, AI, and hyperscale operations across the globe.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the BIM strategy, execution, and governance for data center projects across all design stages.
• Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans, digital workflows, model standards, and coordination protocols.
• Oversee the creation, integration, and quality assurance of multidisciplinary models (MEP, architectural, structural, ICT, fire protection).
• Drive model coordination using platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 / ACC, ensuring clash‑free, fully aligned design outputs.
• Facilitate coordination meetings, model reviews, and digital workshops with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Jacobs’ global digital delivery frameworks, data governance standards, and project‑specific requirements.
• Support the development of digital twins, asset information models, and structured data deliverables aligned with ISO 19650.
• Mentor and guide BIM specialists and discipline modelers, fostering a culture of digital excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with global delivery centers to optimize workflows, resource planning, and model integration.
• Champion innovation, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance design efficiency and project outcomes.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Technolgy .
• 10+ years of BIM experience, including significant involvement in data center or mission‑critical projects.
• Experience working in the UAE or wider GCC region is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience leading BIM-based design delivery (LOD 350–400) for hyperscale and colocation data center clients, ensuring high-quality, coordinated outputs across MEP, ICT, and structural disciplines.
• Strong expertise in federated model management, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination, delivering construction-ready, fully coordinated digital models aligned with project and client standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 / ACC, with a solid understanding of ISO 19650 information management frameworks.
• Experience leveraging automation and computational design tools such as Dynamo, Python, and model-based QA/QC scripting to enhance model accuracy, consistency, and delivery efficiency.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering LOD 300–400 models, including:
  • Detailed coordination of cable containment, routing, and critical MEP systems
  • Integration of vendor-specific equipment models (UPS systems, cooling units, server racks)
  • Ensuring alignment with design intent, hyperscaler / client requirements, and project standards
• Experience supporting digital twin development and data-centric delivery approaches, enabling enhanced lifecycle value, asset information integration, and operational readiness for data center environments
