Senior Server Administrator Abu Dhabi

A reputable hospitality organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Server Administrator to join its IT Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the organizations Microsoft server environment ensuring high availability security and optimal performance of critical business systems.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Microsoft server administration Active Directory and Microsoft Dynamics 365 with the ability to support enterprise-level infrastructure and business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer maintain and optimize the organizations Microsoft server infrastructure.
  
• Manage Active Directory including user accounts group policies organizational units and security permissions.
  
• Support and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related Microsoft business applications.
  
• Monitor server performance system availability and infrastructure health to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  
• Perform server installation configuration upgrades patch management and system migrations.
  
• Manage virtualization environments and storage solutions where applicable.
  
• Implement and maintain backup disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve server network and infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
  
• Ensure systems comply with security policies regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to deliver infrastructure projects and technology improvements.
  
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation system configurations and operational procedures.
  
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades technology refresh initiatives and digital transformation projects.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft server administration within an enterprise environment.
  

• Extensive hands-on experience with:
  

  • Windows Server Administration
    
  • Active Directory
    
  • Group Policy (GPO)
    
  • DNS DHCP and Microsoft networking services
    
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 administration and support
    
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies and enterprise server environments.
  
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is highly desirable.
  
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration Azure services and hybrid environments is an advantage.
  
• Knowledge of backup disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  

Preferred Certifications

Candidates with one or more of the following certifications will be highly regarded:

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or related certifications
  
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) (legacy)
  
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  
• ITIL Foundation

Required Skills:

Certification as a Barista Trainer from a recognized institution. Minimum of 2 years of experience in barista training especially in 5-star hotels. Strong skills and expertise in coffee making and mixology. Proficient in Arabic and English. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Experience in developing and delivering training programs. Passion for coffee and the hospitality industry.
