Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reporting and analysis on USGAAP results and related disclosures
- Prepare annual financial statements with detailed workpapers
- Assist with new accounting standards and transaction implementation
- Perform contract reviews and coordinate implementation
- Maintain accounting compliance with US GAAP and insurance industry standards
- Work with external consultants and accounting firms on financial and tax audits
- Identify operational inefficiencies and formulate recommendations
- Help manage G/L and other financial systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- CPA required
- 3+ years of financial reporting, public accounting or audit experience
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
- Strong knowledge of USGAAP financial statements
- Experience preparing accounting research position papers
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Sigma experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle NetSuite
