Purchase Engineer

GORICA Group is looking to hire a motivated and experienced Purchase Engineer to join its procurement team in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with UAE purchasing experience who are ready to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely sourcing of materials. Candidates with experience in the Heavy Metal Fabrication or Oil & Gas sector are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing and procurement activities in line with company requirements.

• Source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain strong vendor relationships.

• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of required materials.

• Coordinate with internal departments to meet procurement needs efficiently.

• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Engineering Degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum 2 years of UAE purchasing/procurement experience (mandatory).

• Experience in the Heavy Metal Fabrication or Oil & Gas industry is preferred.

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong knowledge of:

• SAP.

• Procurement processes.

• Vendor coordination and purchasing operations.
